Support One Blog, Make Your Blog Stand Tall

Extend your support to other bloggers, keep yourself on track and see your blog grow.

Inexperienced bloggers feel a bit of embarrassment while they compare their blogs with a dozen of posts with old, established blogs with hundreds of posts.

A determined blogger can reach that status, by doing nothing that special, except adding three-five blog posts a week. You can add more than that too.

It is easy to compare yourself against top class blogs and bloggers. One thing to keep in mind is they have reached that state after years of dedication.

Newbie bloggers ditch blogging before their blog takes wings. The main problem is lack of support and motivation. One simple thing can motivate you to no end – support. It is the support from fellow bloggers, which can put you on track and keep you there.

Everyone links to established blogs. None will do so to starting blogs. Be a bit different and link out to small blogs. It is the best form of support you can give a newbie blogger.

Anyone can make his or her blog 100 post strong in 6-12 months. That much posts on a single topic is a great thing. However, to reach that stage is a difficult thing. I have ditched many of my blogging projects after a dozen or two of posts.

I know exactly what it is like to write posts and having no one to read it, or give a feedback. Looking back, I feel terribly bad that I did not continue the projects I started. If only was there someone leaving some comments!

It is old story, I now have at least eight regular readers (as the Feedburner button says), and I see a comment now and then for my posts.

Again, I start seeing comments only after I linked out to some blogs. I know I link out very little.

Every new blogger needs a pat on his or her back. Be the one to give that pat.

If you really want to blog about the things you love, and like to get ONE link, all you have to do is ask me. Or link to my post. Or add me to your blog roll. I will find you on technorati.com back-link search.

Rest assured. I try my best to fit a link to your blog from mine.

If you see a blog post you like, look for ways to link to that post. By supporting a fellow blogger, you are actually supporting yourself.

Hi! You have got the right attitude to be friendly with other bloggers. I like your way of thinking about how one should conduct his or her blogging. Basically, let us not be stingy, just reach out and you'll get good karma in return.

Nice to see you once again, and thanks for the words. Yes, I too believe in Karma, what goes out of me will come back to me - :)

Thanks,

Great post! I've been blogging for over three years now, and it took a long while to get where I am now (PR4 with a Technorati Rank of 6,081) but what helped me most was the many other very nice bloggers I met along the way!

I was in charge of Student Government and Co ran school by 9th Grade and was the best student in over 2 counties during testing. Your point here? The taller people were the more awkward and quiet that I remember. I was a big time swimmer in childhood and had no time to over eat. I’m 5′0 and have a 150 I.Q. My brother has a 148 and he’s 5′8″ and my mother has a whopping 178! Wow and she’s only 5′2″! This should come as no surprise.
